Shipping and Handling
We take pride in making sure your orders are handled with the utmost care, and arrive to you in a timely manner.
Method: We use a combination of USPS, UPS and FedEx, depending on various factors.
Canada: Only Rosita fish liver oils are shipping to Canada at this time. Customers are responsible for taxes and duty fees.
Probiotics: Organic 3 probiotics ship Monday through Wednesday using a 2-day service. Order by 9 a.m. Wednesday for Friday delivery.
Organic 3 probiotics contain active freeze-dried bacteria, versus live cultures. Unlike live cultures, which can be destroyed in transit by heat, freeze-dried bacteria remain intact and stable, with all of their beneficial properties. While Organic 3 probiotics hold up well in warm weather, we still recommend cold packs in higher temperatures.
When temperatures exceed 75°F, we recommend our optional Cold Pack Shipper, which adds one or more ice packs (depending on the size of the order) and insulated packaging. These ice packs are not designed to stay cold during the entire shipment process, but do provide adequate protection. Sometimes, the cold pack may arrive hot. This is to be expected and has no impact on your probiotics. We’ve even tested shipping Organic 3 probiotics in various temperatures to be absolutely sure! Our Cold Pack Shipper also works well for our other products that are kept in cold storage.
If the temperature is above 95°F in your area at the time of ordering, we recommend shipping the probiotic with our optional Dry Ice Shipper. This will provide significant protection from excessive heat.
Please note: We cannot ship dry ice to a P.O. box.
Rosita fish liver oils: Your Rosita products will be sent to you via Ground shipping. Rest assured, they’re safe during transit in any weather (even extreme heat) as the bottles are nitrogen flushed and capped without oxygen, and therefore, protected from oxidation.
Shelf stable products: Our shelf stable products, such as most of our food products, do not require refrigeration and will be sent to you via Ground shipping that includes tracking. If your order includes shelf stable and refrigerated/frozen products, you may receive multiple shipments.
Timing: Our goal is to get your package to you in the most efficient manner using the most cost effective method. The average shipment should arrive between four and 10 days. If you haven’t received your order within 10 days, please feel free to e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note we cannot guarantee the speed of package delivery, nor can we guarantee the date of delivery.
P.O. Boxes, etc.: Orders being shipped to FPO, APO and P.O. Boxes are delivered via USPS, regardless of weight. Additional charges will be applied if the delivery address is incorrect, or if the package needs to be forwarded to a different location. We are unable to ship dry ice to P.O. Boxes.
Note: Virginia and Washington residents are subject to a sales tax on all orders.
