"As soon as the EVCLO product became available, I ordered some. I noticed right away that it smelled, looked, and tasted fresh. This, together with Rosita's transparency and third-party testing, was enough to convince me to switch over to EVCLO and begin recommending it to my tribe."

"I'm thrilled to lend my support to Rosita. It's a wonderful product. It has a clean, light taste, NO aftertaste, and it is produced with transparency, by good people, in a matter I can truly support.

  • It’s fresh because it is bottled within 48 hours of the fish being caught in remote (read: clean) waters of Norway.
  • It’s wild. Rosita does their own fishing (know your fisherman!)
  • It’s raw because no heat, chemicals or mechanical processing is used to obtain the oil.

Here are the personal benefits I attribute to taking EVCLO:

  • My immune system stayed strong throughout the winter.
  • My keratosis pilaris didn’t return. It often flares in the winter, and it didn’t this year.
  • I had no issue taking EVCLO during pregnancy. The other brand is – well – pungent, and could be difficult for anyone with food aversions to take. There’s hardly any fishy flavor, and none of the odiferousness of the other “fermented” brand.”

Shipping Info

This product is shelf stable, does not require refrigeration and will be sent to you via UPS or FedEx Ground shipping that includes tracking.

Please note that in high temperatures (such as 78°F and over), Rosita softgels may clump together. This does not harm the product; just let the bottle cool on the counter and then gently shake.

We take pride in making sure your orders are handled with the utmost care, and arrive to you in a timely manner.

To maintain the Rosita softgels in the best possible state for the longest time, keep your softgels in dark storage at room temperature - ideally ranging from 58°F to 78°F (15°C to 25°C).

Short temperature excursions either way have a minor impact. Cold temperatures over prolonged periods of time can increase permeability of the gel and so they should not be refrigerated or frozen.

The shelf life of Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil softgels is two years from the production date.

Adults: 3 softgels once daily. (90 capsule bottle will last 30 days)

For infants and children: Rosita softgels can be a choking hazard; please keep them away from infants and small children. Softgel capsule may be punctured with a pin and the oil expressed into the mouth.

For sensitive individuals: Begin by taking one softgel daily and increase as needed over time.

Please note that in high temperatures (such as 78° and over), Rosita softgels may clump together - this does not harm the product. Here’s what do to if clumping occurs:

  • Let bottle cool on the counter if it arrives warm/hot.
  • Shake or tap the bottle to loosen softgels.

Frequently asked questions

Rosita Extra-Virgin Cod Liver Oil is exactly the same regardless of the form you choose to purchase.  Both the softgels and liquid have a full spectrum of omegas and fatty acids, high levels of vitamins A and D in the their natural, unadulterated form, and are raw and fresh.

In terms of the milligrams per bottle, the liquid is much more economical.  At roughly 1/2 a teaspoon a day, the liquid will last you two months where the softgels will last you a little under one month.

The Extra-Virgin Cod Liver Oil must be kept refrigerated because once the bottle is opened, the oil is exposed to oxygen and has the potential to oxidize. The small amount of rosemary and Vitamin E. that is added to the oil, as well as keeping it refrigerated, help to slow down this process. On the other hand, exposure to oxygen is not a concern with Rosita Extra-Virgin Cod Liver Oil Softgels because the oil is kept encased in the capsule. In fact, long term refrigeration of the softgels will actually increase permeability and so is not recommended.

Rosita EVCLO is most unique in its production. 99% of all cod liver oil production is created using processes that severely damage the vitamins inherent in the oil, such as freezing, winterization, degumming, bleaching, and deodorizing. Because the fragile nutrients in the oil are destroyed during this time, most of the producers will then fortify it with synthetic vitamins and market the oil as natural.

Rosita is able to produce an oil without these harsh processes. Using an old Viking technique for extracting the liver oil without the use of heat, pressure or chemicals, Rosita is able to capture the nutrients in their raw and unadulterated state. Rosita itself is a company of integrity and they monitor the entire production process, from catching the fish to bottling the oil. They use only small, private fishing fleets and catch the cod by line to encourage sustainability of the fish and reduce by-catch. Only the species Gadus Morhua is used, which by many historical records is the most healing of all the cod. It is only caught in the pristine and clean fjords of Norway and is never frozen (in fact, the fish is used immediately and the oil is produced within 48 hours of catching the cod). The oil is produced in a facility specifically dedicated to creating fish oils so there is no worry of cross contamination. This entire process was well thought out; 2 years of research went into creating the perfect antioxidant package alone, and a packaging method that would ensure the oil stays fresh even as it travels from Norway to other parts of the world.

So while there are a multitude of cod liver oils on the market to choose from, there is only one cod liver oil that is made fresh and raw from wild- caught Atlantic cod. Rosita EVCLO is in its own special category. Discerning customers who understand the significance of a fresh cod liver oil on their health are passionate about EVCLO.

Great product

I love that you can get such a high-quality product in just three soft gels that are not horse pills. They are easy to swallow and do not leave a fishy aftertaste or come “back up” in burps all day!

Hi Kristina, Thank you so much for the kind words. Indeed, because Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil is fresh, wild caught and raw, all of the vitamins A and D, as well as the full spectrum of omega fatty acids are naturally occurring. Therefore, you don't need much! Also, these nutrients get assimilated by your body as a piece of fresh fish would, and that also means the taste dissipates quickly : ) We appreciate your support and are so glad to hear you're happy with the product. Kind regards, The Corganic Team

Great brand, liquid better

I have some problems with swallowiing pills and mistakenly ordered the softgels. I thought maybe the system had messed up my order, but unlikely. I contacted Corganic to check on this and they comp’ed me a bottle of the liquid, which was very generous. Either way Rosita CLO seems to be the best EPA/DHA product out there. Softgels have been mostly ok so far but prefer the liquid.

Hi Doug, Thanks so much for sharing your experience - and we're glad everything worked out as far as you receiving your preferred bottle of Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil liquid. We appreciate the kind words. Indeed, with its naturally occurring nutrient profile, the full spectrum of omega fatty acids you get in Rosita is unlike any other on the market. Thanks again for your support! Kind regards,
