Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil:
Adults: Take one teaspoon daily.
Children and sensitive individuals: Begin by taking 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon and gradually increase as needed.
Infants: May be given 2 to 3 drops daily. Drops may be administered by a spoon or dropper prior to feeding.
Pregnant and nursing mothers: Should not exceed more than 1/4 teaspoon daily or as needed. Best taken with food.
Adults: Take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon daily. May also be taken with Rosita.
Nursing moms: Emu oil is very rich and fatty. Begin with just a small portion on the tip end of a spoon (1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon) per serving daily or as needed. Emu oil can be taken with Rosita.
Children/toddlers: 1/8 teaspoon every other day (may also be taken with small amounts of Rosita).
Infants: Begin with just one drop every other day or as prescribed by a healthcare professional. May also be mixed with tiny amounts of Rosita and given two or three times a week.
Adults/teens/children: 1/2 to 1/4 brick (25g to 50g) per 8 ounce glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, smoothie, yogurt with fruit, etc.
Toddlers: 1/8 brick also mixed with juice, yogurt and other fruit.
Infants: Begin with just 1/16 of the brick (or a small amount) to mix with homemade baby formula. This can replace harsh powdered vitamin C. May be used daily, every other day or every few days in baby formula. Do not mix with plain water.
Adults: 1/2 teaspoon daily.
Teens and children: 1/4 teaspoon mixed in smoothie, honey, food. Bee pollen is not recommended for infants and toddlers under the age of one.
Beef Liver Capsules:
Adults: Begin with 1 capsule daily, may be taken with food, juice or smoothie. Daily dose may be increased if needed or as recommended by a healthcare professional
Children: Capsules may be opened for smaller portions or in support of sensitive digestive systems. Flavor is strong, texture is dry, so mix with other foods, i.e. soup, yogurt, coconut milk, etc. and/or follow up immediately with other foods, juice, smoothies, etc. Do not go beyond 1 capsule per day for toddlers/young children unless otherwise specified by a physician.
To maintain freshness, Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil, Bee Pollen and Emu Oil should be stored in the refrigerator. Acerola Puree must be stored in the freezer. Beef Liver Capsules are shelf stable and can be stored at room temperature.
