Good supplement but A little too fishy
I think I’ll be purchasing the gel caps next time because the liquid is a little too fishy for my son. Otherwise I love corganics supplements.
Hello Daniela, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil liquid. We're so happy to hear that you are loving the supplements you've purchased from Corganic! Going with the softgels is a great bet for those who are sensitive to the taste of fresh fish. In the meantime, here’s a little background information about the taste that we wanted to share with you… Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil is fresh, wild caught and raw - from the clean waters of the North Atlantic. Given all of these unique factors, it indeed tastes like fresh fish :) Nothing is done to alter the taste or smell of the oil. No flavorings are added. Many people enjoy the taste, while others may find it very fishy. Please keep in mind, there’s nothing like it on the market, so Rosita’s inherent taste is unlike the cod liver oils you can pick up at the grocery store. An industrially processed cod liver oil that tastes like lemon or is bland is likely is devoid of its proper nutrients. Here, you can be assured that the unprocessed, synthetic-free cod liver oil you get from Rosita is as fresh as the day it was bottled. As a side note, here are a few tips on “prepping” your fresh Rosita for the most optimal taste: * Your bottle has to be refrigerated. * Before taking your preferred dose, take it out of the fridge set it on the counter for two minutes. * Then shake! This allows your oil to be properly distributed (it’s a full spectrum oil, so shaking it makes for a consistent taste). * Some people like to enjoy a slice of orange afterward for a refreshing chaser. Hope this info helps, Daniela. we wish you and your son the very best! And we are happy to serve you :) Warm regards, The Corganic Team
Who Would Ever Have Thought They Would Love Fish Oil?
I've been taking supplements and fish oils for 40 years, and I've managed an alternative medicine clinic for the past 20 years. So, I'm not your average consumer. This oil is so different from others. It actually does taste fresh. I can not believe I crave the taste of it now. My day is not complete without it and I have to be careful not to take too much. I may purchase the capsules, but again, I like the taste of the oil. The main difference I think I've noticed is improved mental function, meaning clarity and memory. And also the skin on my lower legs is much less dry and scaly. I suspected this was a problem with essential fatty acids. Also, I have rheumatoid arthritis and I believe the oil has helped with my inflammation, but I want to caution that there is no easy answer to RA. Fish oil has always been part of my protocol, along with curcumin, green lipped mussel, among many many other things. I am glad to transition from other brands to Rosita. I would not trust any other fish oil in liquid form as they go rancid so quickly. I know that the absolute worst thing for your health is rancid oil. Better to take none at all than rancid. I trust this brand and the taste confirms that it's still fresh. And, with the liquid it's so easy to get the higher levels of EPA/DHA that I need with a chronic health condition.
Hello CLM, Thank you for sharing your experience with Rosita and for your five-star review. It means so much coming from you, given your history of taking cod liver oil and your long-time professional experience at your alternative medicine clinic. Indeed, Rosita tastes like fresh, wild-caught fish from the icy clean seas of Norway! We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying and now craving the taste and all of the nutrients it yields. As to your dose, we find that the body has a way of telling us what it needs. Sounds like you're listening and also being cognizant of your optimal dose :) And how wonderful that your Rosita is supporting your mental function and clarity, and your skin, as well as your rheumatoid arthritis. We hear these fantastic reports from our customers as well :) Thank you, CLM, for putting your trust in Rosita and it's freshness. You're right that the taste is a sign of its freshness. Nothing is added to mask its all natural, fresh fish taste. And with a raw and unprocessed oil, it's going to taste like fresh fish, which is a wonderful thing :) You also hit the nail on the head as to getting higher doses of omega fatty acids (and vitamins A and D) with the liquid Rosita, as there are more servings per bottle. CLM, we're honored to serve you along your healthy journey. Thank you for your support! Warmly, The Corganic Team
Best cod liver oil
By far the best product in this category on the market

It's simply the best! We're so glad that you recognize the quality and care that goes into your bottle. Thank you again and we wish you the best on your healthy journey. Enjoy your Rosita! Sincerely, The Corganic Team
Premium Extra ****** Cod Liver Oil - the "real" thing
I have a long history taking cod liver oil. Born in Kentucky my parents had us kids take a teaspoon of cod liver oil out of, at that time, a large blue bottle each morning. The outside of the bottle was always oily. We had to hold on tight and shake it before using. It was the real thing. I've been taking a teaspoon every morning ever since. I'm now 73. I used to be able to get cod liver oil at any drug store. For whatever reason finding the "real" thing became harder and harder. Eventually I could only buy processed, clear cod liver oil. It is not, and does not have the benefits, of the "real" thing. Thanks to Google and the global reach of the internet I found Corganic and fresh, wild, and raw cod liver oil with all the associated benefits to my good health. I'm very impressed with Corganic's packaging, timely delivery, and guidance to customers on storage and use. Corganic is also the "real" thing. Don't ever go out of business Corganic!
Dear Gilbert, Thank you for sharing your lifelong experience with cod liver oil. How wonderful that you carry the historical benefits of this wonderful supplement - when it's the real thing, as you referenced. We are so happy that you discovered Rosita on the Internet, with all of its fresh, wild, raw and unprocessed qualities that align with the real deal you've known as a child. Like you said, when cod liver oil is processed (and looks/smells/tastes differently than the unadulterated oil), it is stripped of its naturally occurring nutrients due to the heat and many other steps. Therefore, the omega fatty acids are altered and commercial producers will add synthetic vitamins. We are honored to serve you, Gilbert and we look forward to serving you! We're also happy to hear that you're enjoying the packaging, delivery time and customer service experience. Thank you for all of the kind words. Enjoy your Rosita! Warm regards, The Corganic Team
A little about myself first. I have psoriasis and I can't take meds for it because depression is one of the side effects. Also many supplements will make the psoriasis worse. As a result I have had to learn how to battle it with nutrition. With dietary changes, I've been able to keep it in check. Living in Minnesota, its expensive to get quality fish with their oils in tact. I have been needing to add fresh tuna, salmon and trout for example to my diet. That's where this supplement has a great deal of value for me. As to the negativity about the taste, keep in mind it is fish oil and not any of our other delicious sinful indulgences. I have found mixing it with canned fish works very well. I can't even tell it's there. Also as far as the burping, I have found taking half a dose in the morning and the other half later in the day greatly reduced that effect. Finally, it's too soon for me to say wether I'm going to achieve the results I'm hoping for, but so far I'm encouraged. If you're looking to supplement your diet with what this product can provide, I would say this one has to be the best.
Hello Jamie! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Rosita. How wonderful that you've learned how to keep your psoriasis in check with nutrition and that you've discovered Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil as part of your regimen. As Rosita is fresh, wild-caught and raw, it is indeed akin to eating a piece of fresh fish, like the tuna, salmon and trout you've been adding to your diet. And thank you for the reminder about the fresh fish taste. You hit the nail on the head in that Rosita is fresh, raw fish oil that tastes like so. Nothing is added to mask its all-natural, fresh fish taste. Also, great move on lowering your dose to prevent the burping. We tell our customers that Rosita is premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it’s critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended. For example, a very small dose every other day, or even once a week, until you can determine how the supplement affects your body and what dose feels right for you. Jamie, thank you again for your thoughts and for seeing the quality and care that's put into your Rosita. We look forward to hearing how it's going for you. We wish you the best on your healthy journey - and a cozy Minnesota winter :) Warm regards, The Corganic Team
