Corganic was started by Daniel S. Corrigan in 2007 as a way to help others achieve their health goals through nutrition.
In 1996, Daniel had some serious health challenges. He went to numerous doctors and they were not able to help diagnose nor improve his health. That's when Daniel opened up to "alternative" doctors and "alternative" treatments. After a life-changing acupressure treatment in 1998, Daniel immersed himself in holistic healthcare and nutrition.
In 2001, Daniel attended a lecture presented by Sally Fallon and learned about the Weston A Price Foundation. He immediately joined the Detroit/Lapeer Chapter of the Weston A Price Foundation and started to do volunteer work. Today, Daniel runs the chapter website and was on the Leadership Team in 2006.
In 2003, a photo of Adam Corrigan (Daniel's son) appeared in the Wise Traditions Journal in the Healthy Babies feature. Wise Traditions Journal is the publication produced by the Weston A Price Journal. Daniel also had his recipe for Baby Custard appear in the Wise Traditions Journal.
In 2005 and 2006, Daniel attended Wise Traditions, the national Weston A Price conference held in Washington D.C.
In 2006, Daniel decided to pursue a dietetics degree. He is currently taking classes at Eastern Michigan University. He also successfully completed the course Nutrition Therapy for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In 2007, Daniel became a Certified Body Ecologist. The Body Ecology Diet is a very powerful healing diet that is compatible with the Weston A Price philosophy.
